Meet Liz Keltner

Founder, LCSW, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist

Liz Keltner is the founder and visionary behind hOMe Collective, a vibrant community supporting health and wholeness! Liz earned her Master of Social Work in 2010 from the University of Denver and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker during her time at Aurora Mental Health Center. Through Liz’s work as an Adolescent and Family Therapist at Aurora Mental Health Center’s day treatment program for, she realized and experienced how important it is to include the body in mental health therapy. Time and again she witnessed how the everyday stresses of our world and our more acute traumas separate us from our bodies and true selves. This realization inspired her to find an integrated approach to health and healing that truly invites body, mind and spirit to align. Liz found this aligned approach through Yoga Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. In becoming a Certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist and Yoga Therapist certified by the International Association of Yoga Therapy Liz enjoyed her private practice where she was able to serve the whole person through a trauma focused lens of emobdied wholeness. From there Liz realized she wanted to work in a place that empowers people to understand their whole person well being from multiple perspective, not just the mental health perspective; and the vision of hOMe Collective was born!

Liz found the building that is now hOMe Collective in 2015 and spent a year renovating the building to become a holistic wellness center inclusive of whole person healing, body, mind, spirit! In this process she realized that renovation and construction is similar to choosing a path of embodied wholeness. You can’t ignore the problems, it often gets messier before it gets cleaner, and as soon as you think you have a handle on things, the curve balls start coming! But after a lot of time, sweat, blood and tears, hOMe Collective opened its doors January 2016 to serve the greater Denver and Wheat Ridge community.

Now hOMe Collective is a vibrant space which is hOMe to a multitude of holistically minded practitioners, hOMe Collective Yoga (which joined the vision in 2017 after another renovation project ;), and expansive event and training space. Liz’s time is spent cultivating and harnessing the amazing energy and offerings coming out of hOMe Collective. While she does not see clients privately anymore she does offer free 20 minute phone consults and longer Wellness Intakes for people wanting to take the first steps on their wellness journey but not knowing where to begin. Some tools that hOMe Collective has created to support you in your journey include a Wellness Discovery Kit, an assessment that provides a snapshot of your current state of wellness as well as the HoCo Wellness Journey the possibility to try 2, 3, or 4 of the services at hOMe Collective at discounted rates to support you in trying out our services to see which will support you best on your wellness journey here and now.
